Guderjahn - board member Südzucker
Lutz Guderjahn graduated with a Degree
in Chemistry from the Technical University of Braunschweig followed by a
Doctorate in Carbohydrate and Technical Chemistry in 1995. He has held
different positions within the Südzucker AG since joining the company in
1995. From 1995 to 1999, he performed a variety of functions in the Central
Research and Development department and in Production. In 1999, he was
appointed Head of Business Development in Südzucker AG’s Palatinit division.
From 2002, Lutz Guderjahn was involved in the Group’s
“Bio-ethanol” project and became a member of the Management Board of
CropEnergies Bioethanol GmbH with responsibility for Bioethanol Sales and
Marketing as well as for Business Development and Public Affairs in January
2005. In May 2005, Lutz Guderjahn was elected Vice President of the
European Bioethanol Fuel Association (eBIO). He was member of the Executive
Board of CropEnergies AG from August 2006 to July 2012. In July 2012, he was
appointed to Member of the Executive Board of Südzucker AG being responsible
for Production/Engineering, Procurement of capital goods/maintenance
materials, for Research and Development, Services as well as for Bioethanol
and Functional food ingredients.
From January to November 2010, Lutz Guderjahn was President of the European
Bioethanol Fuel Association (eBIO). In November 2010, he was appointed Vice
President, and in July 2012 President of the European Producers Union of
Renewable Ethanol (ePURE).
