For Frescobaldi one of the first assignments was the negotiation with the
Robert Mondavi corporation for the Luce della Vite joint venture, now a very
successful brand owned by the Frescobaldi group.

Born in Florence in 1945, from a family of Scottish (Geddes) and Florentine
(da Filicaja) origin, the Italian ancestors have been influential in
Florence since the 13th century, one of the Anglo Florentine families which
have contributed to knitting close ties between UK and Florence.
Married to an English/Swedish wife with two daughters, aged 38 and 34.
